Multi-Load Cross Dock: 4 Shipments Sorted on One Truck, Tampa, FL

One truck arrived at our Tampa dock carrying four separate loads, including 10-foot-long pallets stacked on load bars. We sorted the freight, reloaded the first load for delivery, and held the other three for the driver’s return trip.

What Happened at the Dock

Truck backed to the dock and opened, with freight on the trailer floor and on load bar decking above it
Pallet labels checked: fragile, top-load-only, and 72″ fork extension warnings
Forklift removed the 10-foot-long pallets from the decking one at a time
All four loads sorted by shipment
Ten pallets reloaded onto the trailer floor for the first delivery
Remaining three loads staged at our warehouse

Result: The driver left to deliver the first load that day and returned the same day for the remaining three.
